I love the WORD of God and I love to hear the voice of God. There is no security like your Father's voice speaking to you and I know that we can ask God about anything and He will answer us. We can follow Him and it is not difficult for He is a Good God
Where I have been
Born and raised in a Christian Home but I never understood a lot of things about God, for teaching about God were bundled a lot of man made ideas of God's do's and don'ts. Not liberating but focussing on our own sinfulness that we could scarcely know God's grace. Hearing about the Fatherhood.of God became the most freeing and liberating message I ever heard so far. I joined Youth with a Mission and now have HERITAGE of the 7 Mind moulders, Christian Education, Radical Christian thinking and intercession for the nations. Added to that wonderful worship, ministry and faith that God can do anything and use me to do it.
I loved studying the Word and loved teaching about the wonders of God's ways. After Ywam I had to learn to reinterpret what God was saying to normal people living outside the four walls of the church and learn to speak about God to "non-christian-speaking" people. Helping people deal with their own circumstance not by becoming super churchy but by allowing God to love them. Very rarely do preachers study Kingdom principles in Business or science or even the arts and it seems that Jesus knows nothing about the boardroom or farming - and the Jesus outside the Church becomes so much smaller than the Jesus inside the Church
There are so many projects through which God taught me His ways versus the ways of the world, His answers, His perspective, His wisdom and the lesson followed sometimes through the pit like Joseph's. But always there was a rich field of gems blasted open by the attacks of the enemy and the deliverance of God. Burnout, unscrupulous politicians and serious illnesses became the reference points from which I found answers and revelations from God.
Most important to me
Always re-establishing the call of fellowship with God as priority through many changing seasons has been my greatest challenge but I also discovered that God would always draw us deeper to Him.
Now I am trusting God to fill me with His understanding and His Words, and I am now eating bread out of the same pen with which I write the inspirational thoughts. I am learning a lot, free from feelings of performance. I understand that what I write is purely Grace and not my own ideas or ability. Great. I can be myself and I can allow God to say great things through me without feeling responsble for it. All the honour goes to Him.
Where I am
Launching out on yet another great wave of God's grace and love. Seeking His anointing and challenging myself to be ready for greater faith, greater business challenges and finding His favour with me in a greater way when I witness to someone. I want to dig welsl again and find the greater diamonds still hidden in those wells. This year I visited Israel for the first time and found a great love and respect for the TORAH in the original Hebrew. I am little lost in knowing how to take this on, but I have received so much already....
