Our Attitude Towards our Children
Children is most precious in the eyes of God. Jesus rebuked the disciples that thought "children should be seen and not heard - and Jesus took time with the children". Why - what is so important about children? We should understand that children have exactly the same stand in God's eyes as adults - a child's spirit is not a smaller spirit - their sonship and anointing is not a miniature of that of an adult. When a child comes to God - he is born into new life just like all of us. When I do not honour God's creatures that God made because I honour God then I start to value people and things according to my own man made ideas and pride. Respect the God indwelling a child or honour a child because God desires to dwell in him. Our attitude towards children is based on this respect and nurturing - desiring to see a child come to that perfected matured man in God that God desires
