1 God's Love - Encouragement of God
God's love - New!
How big is the love of God for you! Do you think it is a good bit, a whole lot, enormous, liberal or something I do not know. We measure our own love and other people's love - but the love of God can not be measured - because it has no beginning and no ending. It is infinite. How can I take this truth and make it digestible for my small understanding and limited experience?
If the love of God can not be measured then it is not it's value you measure but you measure the benefit you experience. You cannot give a name to God's love you can only take it by faith, rearrange your life arround it and understand God through this love of His.
1Jn 4:16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. 17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. 18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. 19 We love him, because he first loved us.
This is a whole mouth full. Here is no argument if God loves us. It presumes that we can enter into that love and into God. It says that this love gives us boldness and access to God - not just in the future but here already. This love excludes fear and if fear is there more love will chase it out - in this love there is no pain or torment - if it is painful you have not yet enter into that love fully. And this love towards us changes in love towards God - this love comes from Him and goes back towards Him.
Here is a secret! God's love is not just an extension of Him - God is His love - When He gives His love He give Himself also fully. Do you believe that God loves you - then He is so totally involved with you that the two of you cannot be separated. Do you know that God only gives His love in a full measure - it is us that blocks Him out of our lives. It is time to say "Lord I trust your Love, for you cannot love uncommittedly. You can only love with Goodness towards me all day long."
God did not say that He will love you according to how good you are or that you must change first - no His love is unconditional
God's love is not scary or a trap where you can get hurt again - His love is the only love that you do not need to fear that it will change or turn against you. He will be the same towards you every day - without exception. Did you know He loved you so much!
Come and accept His love in spite of your own fear and your own short comings - He will meet you to reveal the unmeasurable favour He has towards you. Do not draw back in fear or self condemnation. He gives you this love freely to experience and enjoy - just believe in this love that sent Jesus to die for you - Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Joh 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
