3 Faith and it's Power
1 Faith that does Exploids - Works, Power, Miracles
The people that did exploids
In Hebrew chapter 11 there is a great list of people that were faith warrior of WORD, those people that did exploids for the Lord through Faith. Because
Heb 11:2
For by it the elders obtained a good report.
Heb 11:33-34 Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions,
Heb 11:34 Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.
Heb 11:4 By faith Abel
Heb 11:5 By faith Enoch
Heb 11:7 By faith Noah,
Heb 11:8 By faith Abraham,
Faith that is strong in power
There is a faith that demonstrated power, Stephen was full of faith and power and did miracles another verse says full of the Spirit and faith. There is wonderful power available when we team up with the Holy Spirit and are full of faith
1Co 2:5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God
Act 6:8 And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people.
Act 6:5 And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost
Power of Faith - for Miracles
Even when Jesus was moving about on earth faith was springing up for people started to have faith in the miracle power of God and as Jesus came to them they were healed. There were not people that were healed just by faith before Jesus came so what change. Something was happening and still Jesus had to meet together with their faith. Do we still need to meet up with Jesus even when there are much faith present
Gal 3:5 He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
Act 14:9 The same heard Paul speak: who stedfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed ,
Luk 8:48 And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole ; go in peace.
Luk 17:19 And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole .
Luk 18:42 And Jesus said unto him, Receive thy sight: thy faith hath saved thee .
2 Faith - the big KEY of Permission
According to your faith
When faith meet up with action - Jesus spoke the word that healed the blind but it was based on their faith. Faith is the Key of permission for anything to happen
Mat 9:28-30
And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord.
Mat 9:29 Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.
Mat 9:30 And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly charged them, saying, See that no man know it.
Mat 9:21-22
For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.
Mat 9:22 But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour
Mat 15:28 Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.
Jesus reveal how badly unbelief disrupts the work of Faith. Faith in it's smallest quantity is most powerful and can do anything. Faith accompanied with it's corresponding action can do anything.
Mat 17:20-21
And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed , ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
Mat 17:21 Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.
Jesus spoke about the power of faith that is not stopped by doubt, that when we speak it will be done - But just so we need faith we be pray to ask for something. That prayer asks believing
Mat 21:21,22 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.
Mat 21:22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
This third example says that our Faith should be in God - then we should believe the things we say that we have them what we say. Or when we pray we must believe that we receive it already. This corresponds with Heb 11.1 Faith is the substance of the things hoped for - "It is done". An impossible thing is no longer so, when it is prayed for or spoken to by faith, without any doubt.
Mar 11:22-24 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
Mar 11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
Mar 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
3 Different abilities of Faith - as a WEAPON
Faith as a shield - armour
Faith is strong and not wobbly and delicate it is our shield
Eph 6:16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
Faith overcomes the World
The man of Faith are not impressed with all the plans and the schemes of this world, for he knows what it has in his faith in Jesus
1Jn 5:4-5 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
1Jn 5:5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
Faith overcome the devil
Even when the devil goes around like a roaring lion we continue by our faith and will resist him and he will flee from us
1Pe 5:7-9
Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
1Pe 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
1Pe 5:9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
Power of Faith - over Death
Faith is not just for the now and present things, it is not just about things that is possible or even things that others has already done, but is is even stronger that death for Jesus proved that and Abraham believed it.
Heb 11:17,19 By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son,
Heb 11:19 Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure.
